Kendra Becker-Musante, MS, ND, FNP, BC

Kendra Becker-Musante is a Doctor of Naturopathy (CT) and Advance Practice Nurse (CT, FL licensed) she has integrated these 2 degrees to provide the best possible care to her patients. Kendra Becker-Musante understands the importance of integrating conventional and holistic medicine and the importance of combining therapies appropriately. Prior to becoming a physician, Kendra Becker-Musante spent 10 years practicing as an ICU nurse for both adults and children, specializing in cardiac surgery and cardiac anomalies. Kendra Becker-Musante has been an active advocate for the protection of medical freedom and patient autonomy for nearly 20 years. She has participated at the local, state, and national level, as a lobbyist, advocate and educator to help ensure that parents, families and individuals have the right to make informed decisions about healthcare.

Kendra Becker-Musante is committed to promoting transparency and accountability within Sarasota Memorial Hospital's operations and decision-making processes. She believes in keeping the community informed about hospital policies, procedures, and financial matters as much as possible, to ensure the highest quality care within the community.

Kendra Becker-Musante plans to be responsive and accessible representative, and pledges to actively listen to the concerns and needs of the community and act on those concerns. She will advocate for policies that reflect the interests and values of Sarasota County residents.

 Kendra Becker-Musante recognizes the importance of appropriate allocation of taxpayer dollars to Sarasota Memorial Hospital. She will work to ensure that resources are used efficiently and effectively to provide high-quality care to patients.

Kendra Becker-Musante was a critical care nurse that recognizes the concerns of staffing challenges faced by Sarasota Memorial Hospital's emergency rooms in the county, especially during peak seasons when patient volumes surge. She is committed to addressing these challenges by advocating for increased staffing levels, improved scheduling practices, and enhanced support for frontline healthcare workers. Kendra Becker-Musante will work to ensure that patients receive the highest quality care in a timely & efficient manner the emergency room, to  improve overall patient satisfaction. She believes that every patient deserves prompt and compassionate care, regardless of the severity of their condition, and will prioritize initiatives to alleviate overcrowding and long wait times in the ER.

Kendra Becker-Musante has spent the balance of her care collaborating with other providers. This is an important part of getting the job done and will continue to collaborate within Sarasota Memorial Hospital to improve patient outcomes and enhance healthcare delivery. Kendra Becker-Musante will advocate for initiatives that promote interdisciplinary collaboration and the adoption of innovative healthcare technologies and practices with the interest of the public at heart.

Kendra Becker-Musante has been advocating and supporting patients and community, her entire career, and she continues to be dedicated to supporting community health and wellness initiatives that promote true preventive care, holistic care, at home care, wellness education, and disease prevention. She recognizes the importance of advocating for education initiatives that address the social determinants of health and improve overall community well-being.
